This year's holiday event is organized with the Special Libraries Association - Southern California Chapter.  A holiday event with substance. Join a variety of professionals to mix, mingle, synergize and look forward. Plus: Three course meal and cash bar; Entertainment, provided by DJ Dave Dolphin; Free admission to the Museum prior to the event; Support of an important charitable cause, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Room to Read.

Size Matters: Engaging Users Where They are @

Media technologies are both proliferating and converging. Libraries and corporations continue to seek new ways to utilize these technologies in order to extend their presence in both traditional physical and virtual spaces. The workshop will examine how libraries and others are using large screen displays and mobile applications to inform users and extend library services by engaging people where they are @: home, on the go, in the library, or on their phone.
